I’ve had a hard day but I have stayed on track. Saturday night is normally a night where I will cave and have a take away, invetably followed by a lot of other food.
This week has been back to normal with the routine. So plenty to keep me busy. Being back in the gym is a relief, not just because I feel a bit lazy not getting on with my training. The most important thing for me, is to have that alternative to bingeing.
The further along this journey I go, the more important it is to me, to share the experience. It’s safe to say I am behind the times with social media. The last 48 hours has been a learning curve and then some! But I can announce that I have braved the world of Twitter. I have already found so many new resources. So going forward I will make an effort to (not only learn how to be ‘down with the kids’ but also) link the two and perhaps pass these resources onto others. You can find me @FightingBED.
So I have come to the end of my first week. It has been a surprisingly great week. I would normally approach a new venture into weight issues with goals set far ahead. The focus being on what I wanted to ultimately look and feel like. I have discovered that this has been an unnecessary pressure I put upon myself.
