It’s OK

Part if my journey is to learn to be able to relax about food. I need to break my cycles involving guilt and punishment.
After a crazy day and not feeling great we had a take out for dinner. I even ate chocolate after. Rather than being annoyed with myself and upset (often leading to out of control binges) I still feel positive. I will still eat sensible tomorrow and not be wracked with guilt about tonight’s meal. That’s all it was, a meal, not a failure or an escape from an emotion. Sure I could work on making a healthier choice next time but this all feels like progress and that makes me happy!
